1 1  Lord, How long will You forget me?
O LORD, for'ere it see-eems to be.
How long You hide Your fa-ace from me
while I in darkness gro-ope for Thee?

2 2  How long shall I counsel my soul,
My heart daily havi-ing sorrow?
How long shall my adver-ersary
still be exalted o-over me?

3 3  Look carefully and answer me,
O Lord my God, enli-ighten me,(3.1)
lest I should sleep the slee-eep of death,
while for my soul, I ge-et no rest.

4 4  Lest my adver-sary should say,
I have prevailed o'er him today;
Lest the ones that are troubling me
rejoice when I am mo-oved from Thee.

5 5  But I have trust in Thy mercy.
My heart rejoice in Thy-y saving.
6  I sing unto the LO-ORD, for He
has dealt bounti-fully-y with me.

3.1. Lit. Enlighten my eyes

Luke 18:1  And He told them a parable to the end that they ought always to pray and not lose heart,  2  Saying, There was a certain judge in a certain city who did not fear God and did not regard man.  3  And there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, Avenge me of my opponent.  4  And for a time he would not; but afterward he said within himself, Even though I do not fear God nor regard man,  5  Yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will avenge her, lest by continually coming she wear me out.  6  And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge says.  7  And will not God by all means carry out the avenging of His chosen ones, who cry to Him day and night, though He is long-suffering over them?  8   I tell you that He will carry out their avenging quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?

Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither  will the eagles be gathered together.
21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

James 1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
3  Knowing that the proving of your faith works endurance.
4  And let endurance have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.
5  But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.
