Psalm 27 through David

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation.
Whom shall I fear in tribulation?
The LORD is the strength of my life, I sing.
Of whom shall I be in tremble-ing?
2 When wicked, my foes and enemies,
to eat my flesh, they came upon me,
themselves they stumbled, and hard did fall,
and the Lord my God saved me from them all.
3 Though an army should encamp against me,
my heart won’t fear from anxiety.
Though a war rise up against me to rent,
in this thing I will be confident:
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD.
That I seek after based on His word.
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all days of my life for my reward.
To behold the Lord’s marvelous beauty
and inquire in His temple daily,
5 for in troublous times, He shall then hide me
in shelter of His tent secretly.
He will set me high upon a rock.
6 And now shall my head be lifted up
o'er my enemies round about me.
Therefore will I offer praises to Thee.
I will offer in His tabernacle
sacrifices of joy to the full.
I will sing, and I will psalm to the Lord.
7 Hear, as I call with my voice, O LORD.
And give grace to me, and answer me.
8 'Seek out my face', my heart said to Thee.
Thy presence, LORD, I in all things seek. 9 Do not hide Your face from Your servant meek.
Your servant put not away in anger.
Lord, You have always been my helper.
Depart from me not, and forsake not me,
O God of salvation unto me.
10 If my loving Mom and trusted Pop,
leave me then the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me
in a plain path, due to my enemies.
12 To my foes desire don’t deliver me,
for witnesses testify falsely.
They have lifted up themselves against me,
also such as breathe out cruelty,
13 had I not believed, believed to see
good from the LORD in land of living.
14 Wait on the LORD, be strong and endure
He'll strengthen your heart, so wait on the LORD.

become disapproved . Heb 4:1 Let us fear therefore, lest, a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.
have come short of it. Rev 3:15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spew you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, I am wealthy and have become rich and have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire that you may be rich, and white garments that you may be clothed and that the shame of your nakedness may not be manifested, and eyesalve to anoint your eyes that you may see. 19 As many as I love I rebuke and discipline; be zealous therefore and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me.
Heb 13:5 Let your way of life be without the love of money, being satisfied with the things which are at hand; for He Himself has said, ``I shall by no means give you up, neither by any means shall I abandon you''; 6 So that being of good courage, we say, ``The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear. What shall man do to me?''
Ps 30:6 And I, in my prosperity, I said
I shall never be moved.
7 LORD, by Your favor
You made my mountain to stand strong.
You hid Your face from me.
I was troubled.
Ps 50:4 He will call to the heavens from above and to the earth to judge His people.
5 Gather my saints together unto Me; those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.
2 Samuel 1:2-16 It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance. 3 And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped. 4 And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. 5 And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead? 6 And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I. 8 And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. 9 He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. 10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
11 Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him: 12 And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword. 13 And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed? 15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died. 16 And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD'S anointed.
2 Samuel 4:5-12 And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth, who lay on a bed at noon. 6 And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped. 7 For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away through the plain all night. 8 And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed. 9 And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity, 10 When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings: 11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth? 12 And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
1 Kings 2:5-6 Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet. 6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
