Psalm 62 for the overcomer, upon Jeduthun, a psalm through David
Composer: Charles H. Gabriel
1 1 My soul's silent, to God only.
My salvation's from Him solely.
2 He only is my Rock truly,
and Salvation surely.
He's my Fortress, I'll not be shaken.
3 How long will you attack a person?
To throw him down, all you are working,
this leaning wall, tot'ring?
2 4 They consult to push him, only,
down from upon his dignity.
They are taking delight in lies,
with their mouths eulogize,
but inwardly they're cursing. Selah.
5 My soul, Rest quiet only in God
because my hope comes from Him solely.
6 He is my Rock, only,
3 and only is my Salvation.
He's my Fortress. I'm not shaken.
7 My salvation and my glory
depend on God,surely.
Rock of my strength, God, Refuge of mine -
8 You people trust this One at all times.
Pour out your hearts unto Him, tell all.
God's our Refuge. Selah.
4 9 Common men are a breath, only.
Persons are but a vanity.
If on a scale they are measured,
they're nothing together.
Together they are lighter than air.
10 Do not trust in extortion unfair,
nor become worthless through robbery.
God is our Rock, you see.
5 Though your riches, they might increase,
set not your heart on them for grief.
11 One thing God has spoken to us;
two things I have heard thus:
that to God belongs power mighty,
12 and with You, O Lord, there is mercy,
for You recompense every person
based upon what he's done.

41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;
42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters. (1Ch 16:40-42 KJV)

2 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.
4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. (1Ch 25:1-6 KJV)

(2Ch 35:15 KJV)

Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth Jehovah hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood;
18 a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations; feet that are swift in running to mischief;
19 a false witness that uttereth lies, and he that soweth discords among brethren. (Pro 6:16-19 DBY)
30:15 The leech hath two daughters: Give, give. There are three things never satisfied; four which say not, It is enough:
16 -- Sheol, and the barren womb; the earth which is not filled with water, and the fire which saith not, It is enough.
17 The eye that mocketh at a father, and despiseth to obey a mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up. (Pro 30:18-31 KJV)
