Psalm 22
to the overcomer, upon the hind of the dawn, a psalm through David

Tune: Dominique 8.7.6.7.7.7. 7.7.7.7. by Sister Luc-Gabrielle

1 1  My God, My God, My God, My God,
     Why hast Thou forsaken Me,
     so far from helping Me?
     Why are You now ignoring
all the words of My roaring?
It has pleased You to bruise Me.(1.1)

2        O My God, I call by day,
          and You have answered, Nay,
          and also during the night,
and I have not been silent.

2 3  But You are the One who's Holy.
     You are even now sitting.
      Israel's praises are these:
4  Our fathers trusted in Thee.
They trusted and You made free. (4.1)
5  They cried to Thee desp'rately,

          and thus they were delivered.
They placed their trust upon Thee,
and they were not put to shame,
6        but a worm, I've come to be.

3     I am a reproach of mankind
      and not even a person.
     A people despise Me, (6.1)
7   all they that look upon Me,
to scorn, they laugh at Me.
And they wag the head, sneering,

8        "Roll it all unto the LORD.
           Let's see Him deliver Him.
Let Him come and rescue Him
           because He delights in Him."

4 9     But You are the One who took Me
      out from My mother's belly.
      Upon My mother's breasts,
You caused Me to hope in Thee.
10  And from the womb upon Thee,
upon Thee, I have been cast.

You have always been My God
             since in My mother's belly.
11         Do not be far off from Me
          because trouble is near me.

5 Because there is not a helper,
12 many bulls encompass Me,
      Bashan's strong ones 'round Me.
       Their mouths open against Me,
13   as a lion ravening,
       roaring and devouring.

14       I am poured out like water,
and all My bones come apart.
            Melted inside of My bowels,
like wax has become My heart.

6 15 Like a broken pot made of clay,
all My strength has been dried up.
My tongue cleaves to My prey.
Into death's dust, You've brought Me,
16  because dogs have compassed Me
       in a  wicked assembly.

In around Me they have closed .
They have digged My hands and feet.
17       I'm expounding all My bones.
They look, they stare into Me.

7 18  They part My garments among them
and cast lots for My clothing.
19  Do not be far, O LORD,
You who are My very strength.
To help Me do now make haste.
20   Do save My soul from the sword.

Out from the hand of the dog,
           deliver My only one.
21       Save Me from the lion's mouth
and from horns of the high ones.

8 22 You have answered Me, O Father.
To My brothers, Your loved sons,
        I will expound Your name.
        Inside of the assembly.
I'll sing hymns of praise to Thee.
23   Ye that fear the LORD, praise Him.

             All descendants of Jacob,
all ye glorify the Lord. (23.1)
             All seed of Israel revere
24         because He has not abhorred,

9 neither has He ever despised
       the affliction of the poor,
nor from him hid His face,
but He heard His earnest plea
       when He cried desperately. (24.1)
25   Of Thee, shall be My praise.

             Inside the great assembly
             I will pay My promises
near unto them that fear Him.
26        The meek shall eat and find rest.

10 They will praise the LORD that seek Him.
And your heart shall live fore'er.
27  On earth, all the far ends,
       this deed they shall remember,
and  to the LORD they will turn.
       Families of all nations,

            they'll worship in Your presence.
28       Because of the LORD's kingdom,
             He's ruling in the nations.
29       They shall eat and worship Him.

11 All of the fat upon the earth,
they shall bow down before Him,
       all that descend to dust.
And there's none can keep alive.
None can save his own soul life.
All must in the Lord's work trust.

30      And my Seed's service to Him (30.1)
shall be told all o'er again,
for my Lord, as if by Him,
           told to a generation.

12 31  They shall come, and they shall declare
to a people to be born,
       make known His righteousness.
This deed which the Lord has done,
        they'll retell to everyone
that He may all peoples bless.

 1.1 Isa 53:10

Mt 27:45   Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mk 15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
33  And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Lu 23:44  And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
Amos 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

Mt 27:39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
Mk 15:29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
Lk 23:35  And the people stood by, looking on. And the rulers also sneered, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, the Chosen One!

Acts 10:11  And he beheld heaven opened, and a certain vessel like a great  sheet descending, being let down by four corners onto the earth,  12  In which were all the four-footed animals and reptiles of the earth and birds of heaven.  13  And a voice came to him: Rise up, Peter; slay and eat!  14  But Peter said, By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything common and unclean.  15  And a voice came to him again a second time: The things that God has cleansed, do not make common. 16  And this occurred three times; and immediately the vessel was taken up into heaven.  17  Now as Peter was utterly perplexed in himself as to what the vision which he had seen might be, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made diligent inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate.  18  And they called out and inquired whether Simon, who is surnamed Peter, was lodging there.  19  And while Peter was pondering over the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, there are three men seeking you.  20  But rise up, go down and go with them, doubting nothing, because I have sent them. ...
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

Ps 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
John 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Ps 37:4and delight yourself in the Lord,
and He will give you the requests of your heart.
5 Roll your way upon the Lord, and trust in Him and He will act.
Pr 16:3  Roll your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.

Ps 37:25 I have been young, and now am old,
yet I've never seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his seed begging for bread.

Matt 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Mark 7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. {Greek: or, Gentile}
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
Ex 22:31  And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.

Lu 23:5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry,  beginning from Galilee to this place.
23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Job 6:27  Yea, ye overwhelm the fatherless, and ye dig upon your friend.

Jn 19:34  But one of the soldiers  pierced  His side with a spear, and immediately there came out blood and water.  35  And he who has seen this has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he says what is true, that you also may believe.  36  For these things happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled: "No bone of His shall be broken.''  37  And again another Scripture says, "They shall look on Him whom they  pierced .''
Zec 12:10  And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Mt 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Mr 15:24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
Lu 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Joh 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. {woven: or, wrought}
Joh 19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Ps 35:22  This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Ps 38:21  Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
Ps 71:12  O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

2Ti 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Ac 4:27 For in truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou hadst anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations, and peoples of Israel, have been gathered together in this city

Matt 28:8  And they went away quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to report this to His disciples.  9  And behold, Jesus met them, saying, Rejoice! And they came to Him and took hold of His feet and worshipped Him.  10  Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid. Go and report to  My   brothers  that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.
John 20:17  Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My   brothers  and say to them, I ascend to  My  Father and your Father, and  My  God and your God.  18  Mary the Magdalene came, announcing to the disciples, I have seen the Lord, and that He had said these things to her.
Heb 2:11  For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them  brothers ,  12   Saying, "I will declare Your name to  My   brothers ; in the midst of the church I will sing hymns of praise to You.''  13  And again,  "I will trust in Him.'' And again,  "Behold, I and the children whom God has given to Me.''
17  Hence He should have been made like His  brothers in all things that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in the things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.  18  For being tempted in that which He Himself has suffered, He is able to help those who are being tempted.
3:1  Therefore, holy  brothers , partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,
1 Pet 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has regenerated us unto a living hope through the  resurrection  of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Rom 8:29  Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many  brothers ;

Rom 11:25  For I do not want you, brothers, to be ignorant of this mystery (lest you be wise in yourselves), that hardness has come upon  Israel  in part, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in;  26  And thus all Israel will be saved, as it is written, "The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.  27  And this is the covenant from Me with them, when I take away their sins.''
Isa 59:20 And {1} the deliverer shall come for Sion's sake, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. (LXX)
21 And this shall be my covenant with them, said the Lord; My Spirit which is upon thee, and the words which I have put in thy mouth, shall never fail from thy mouth, nor from the mouth of thy seed, for the Lord has spoken it, henceforth and for ever. (LXX)

Zech 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

Lev 26:36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. {shaken: Heb. driven}
37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

Heb 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Matt 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Isa 53:1   Who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of Jehovah been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: He has no form nor lordliness, and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and left alone of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and like one from  whom men hide their faces; -despised, and we esteemed Him not.
4   Surely He, Himself,  has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; and we, we did regard Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid  upon Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and was as a sheep dumb before her shearers, and He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from oppression and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of the living. For the transgression of my people the stroke was upon them.
9 And men appointed His grave with the wicked, but He was with the rich in His death, because He had  done no violence, neither was there guile in His mouth.
10   Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise Him; He has subjected Him to suffering. When Thou shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see a seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see of the fruit of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant instruct many in righteousness; and He, Himself,  shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I assign Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong: because He has poured out his soul unto death, and was reckoned with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Mt 8:17 so that that should be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases.
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
Zec 13:5 And He shall say, "No prophet am I. A servant of the ground I am because for mankind they caused Me to pay the price from My youth."
6 And one shall say unto Him, What are these wounds in Your hands? Then He shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of those zealous for Me.
7 Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, even against the Man that is My Peer, says Jehovah of hosts: smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered, and I will turn My hand upon the last ones.
Matt 26:31  Then Jesus said to them, You will all be stumbled because of Me this night, for it is written, "I will smite the  Shepherd , and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.''
Mt 20:28 as indeed the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Ga 3:13 Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed is every one hanged upon a tree,)
Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, the called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
28 thus the Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear to those that look for Him the second time without sin unto salvation.
1Pe 3:18 for Christ indeed has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; being put to death in flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,
1Jo 2:2 and He, Himself, is the propitiation for our sins; but not for ours alone, but also for the whole world.
Ro 4:25 who has been delivered for our offenses and has been raised for our justification.
5:6   for we being still without strength, in the due time Christ has died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for the just man will one die, for perhaps for the good man some one might also dare to die;
8 but God commends his love to us, in that, we being still sinners, Christ has died for us.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered to you, in the first place, what also I had received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures;
2Co 5:21 Him who knew not sin he has made sin for us, that we might become God's righteousness in him.
Eph 5:2 and walk in love, even as the Christ loved us, and delivered himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor.

Luke 18:1  And He told them a parable to the end that they ought always to pray and not lose heart,  2  Saying, There was a certain judge in a certain city who did not fear God and did not regard man.  3  And there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, Avenge me of my opponent.  4  And for a time he would not; but afterward he said within himself, Even though I do not fear God nor regard man,  5  Yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will avenge her, lest by continually coming she wear me out.  6  And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge says.  7  And will not God by all means carry out the avenging of His chosen ones, who cry to Him day and night, though He is long-suffering over them?  8   I tell you that He will carry out their avenging quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?

Mt 26:63 But Jesus was silent. And the high priest answering said to him, I adjure thee by the living God that thou tell us if thou art the Christ the Son of God.
27:12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and the elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then says Pilate to him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him not so much as one word, so that the governor wondered exceedingly.
Mr 14:61 But he was silent, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and says to him, You are the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
15:5 But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.
Lu 23:9 and he questioned him in many words, but He answered him nothing.
Joh 19:9 and went into the praetorium again and says to Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
1Pe 2:23 who, when reviled, reviled not again; when suffering, threatened not; but gave himself over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
Ac 8:32 And the passage of the scripture which he read was this: He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb is dumb in presence of him that shears him, thus he opens not his mouth.

Rom 9:1  I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit,  2  That I have great grief and unceasing pain in my heart.  3  For I could wish that I myself were a curse, separated from Christ for my brothers, my  kinsmen  according to the flesh, (RcV)

Matt 20:17  And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside privately, and on the way He said to them,  18  Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes. And they will condemn Him to death,  19  And deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised.
Mk 10:32  Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus led the way before them. And they were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. And He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that were about to happen to Him:  33  Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and to the scribes. And they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles,  34  And they will mock Him and spit at Him and scourge Him, and they will kill Him. And after three days He will rise.
Lk 18:31  And taking the twelve aside, He said to them, Behold we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which have been written through the prophets regarding the Son of Man will be accomplished,  32  For He will be delivered up to the Gentiles and will be mocked and outrageously treated and spit upon;  33  And when they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day He will rise.

Ps 69:7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. (KJV)
Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
Jn 1:10  He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him.  11  He came to His own, yet those who were His own did not receive Him.
Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Jer 31:31 Behold, days come, saith Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day of my taking them by the hand, to lead them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto them, saith Jehovah.
33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and will write it in their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will pardon their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
Heb 8:6  But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry inasmuch as He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted upon better promises.  7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, no place would have been sought for a second.  8  For finding fault with them He says, "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, and I will consummate a new covenant upon the house of Israel and upon the house of Judah,  9  Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
10  For this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will impart My laws into their mind, and on their hearts I will inscribe them; and I will be God to them, and they will be a people to Me.  11   And they shall by no means each teach his fellow citizen and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all will know Me from the little one to the great one among them.  12  For I will be propitious to their unrighteousnesses, and their sins I shall by no means remember anymore.''  13  In saying, A new covenant, He has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and growing decrepit is near to disappearing.
11:13  All these died in faith, not receiving the  promises  but seeing them from afar and joyfully greeting them and confessing that they were strangers and sojourners on the earth.
Rom 15:8  For I say that Christ has become a servant of the circumcision for the sake of God's truthfulness, to confirm the  promises  given to the fathers,
2 Cor 1:20  For as many  promises  of God as there are, in Him is the Yes; therefore also through Him is the Amen to God, for glory through us to God.
6:18  "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.''  7:1  Therefore since we have these  promises , beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and of spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Gal 3:16  But to Abraham were the  promises  spoken and to his seed. He does not say, "And to the seeds,'' as concerning many, but as concerning one: ``And to your seed,'' who is Christ.  17  And I say this: A covenant previously ratified by God, the law, having come four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul so as to make the promise of none effect.  18  For if the inheritance is of law, it is no longer of promise; but to Abraham God has graciously given it through promise.
2 Pet 1:2  Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the full knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;  3  Seeing that His divine power has granted to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and virtue,  4  Through which He has granted to us precious and exceedingly great  promises that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption which is in the world by lust.

Phil 2:3  Doing nothing by way of selfish ambition nor by way of vainglory, but in  lowliness  of mind considering one another more excellent than yourselves;  4  Not regarding each his own virtues, but each the virtues of others also.
5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,  6  Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal with God a treasure to be grasped,  7  But emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, becoming in the likeness of men; 8  And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and that the death of a cross.
9  Therefore also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,  10  That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  11  And every tongue should openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the  Father.
Matt 5:5  Blessed are the  meek , for they shall inherit the earth.
18:3  And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you turn and become like little children, you shall by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens.  4  He therefore who will  humble  himself like this little child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens.
23:11  And the greatest among you shall be your servant.  12  And he who will exalt himself shall be humbled, and he who will  humble  himself shall be exalted.
Lk 1:46  And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,  47  And my spirit has exulted in God my Savior;  48  Because He has looked upon the low estate of His slave. For behold, from now on all generations will count me blessed,  49  Because the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His name.  50  And His mercy is unto generations and generations, unto those who fear Him.  51  He has exercised might with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the understanding of their heart.  52  He has brought down potentates from thrones and has exalted the  humble ;  53  The hungry He has filled with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. 54  He has upheld Israel His servant to remember mercy,  55  Even as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.
Prov 3:34 (LXX) The Lord resists the proud; but he gives grace to the humble.
1 Pet 5:5  In like manner, younger men, be subject to elders; and all of you gird yourselves with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud but gives grace to the  humble .  6  Therefore be humbled under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time,
Rom 12:16  Be of the same mind toward one another, not setting your mind on the high things but going along with the  lowly ; do not be wise in yourselves.
Eph 4:1  I beseech you therefore, I, the prisoner in the Lord, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,  2  With all  lowliness  and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing one another in love,

Matt 11:28  Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you  rest .  29  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find  rest  for your souls.  30  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Heb 4:1  Let us fear therefore, lest, a promise being left of entering into His  rest , any one of you may seem to have come short of it.  2  For indeed we have had the good news announced to us, even as they also; but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed together with faith in those who heard.  3  For we who have believed enter into the  rest , even as He has said, "As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter into My  rest !'' although the works of creation were completed from the foundation of the world.  4  For He has spoken somewhere concerning the seventh day thus, "And God rested on the seventh day from all His works.''  5  And in this place again, "They shall not enter into My  rest !''
6  Since therefore it remains that some should enter into it and those who formerly had the good news announced to them did not enter because of disobedience,  7  He again designates a certain day, today, saying in David after so long a time, even as He has said before, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.''  8  For if Joshua had brought them into  rest , He would not have spoken concerning another day after these things.
9  So then there remains a Sabbath  rest  for the people of God.  10  For he who has entered into His  rest  has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His own.  11  Let us therefore be diligent to enter into that  rest  lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. 12  For the word of God is living and operative and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow, and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
2 Cor 2:13  I had no  rest  in my spirit, for I did not find Titus my brother; but taking leave of them, I went forth into Macedonia.

James 15:16  "After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen; and I will rebuild its ruins and erect it again,  17  So that the remainder of men may  seek  out the Lord, even all the Gentiles upon whom My name has been called,  18  Says the Lord, who is making these things known from of old.''

Rom 15:9  And that the Gentiles should glorify God for His mercy, as it is written, "Therefore I will extol You among the Gentiles, and I will sing  praise  to Your name.''  10  And again he says, "Rejoice, Gentiles, with His people.''  11  And again, "Praise  the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples speak  praise  to Him.''
Psal 18:49  Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the gentiles, and sing praises unto thy name.
Deut 32:43  Rejoice, O ye nations, [with] his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, [and] to his people.
Psal 117:1  O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye peoples.
Eph 1:5  Predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,  6  To the  praise  of the glory of His grace, with which He graced us in the Beloved; 7  In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of offenses, according to the riches of His grace,
Heb 13:15  Through Him then let us offer up a sacrifice of  praise  continually to God, that is, the fruit of lips confessing His name.
1 Pet 1:7  So that the proving of your faith, much more precious than of gold which perishes though it is proved by fire, may be found unto  praise  and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Rev 19:5  And a voice came out from the throne, saying,  Praise  our God, all His slaves and those who fear Him, the small and the great.  6  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.  7  Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.

Ps 13:3 Look carefully and answer me.
O Lord my God, enlighten my eyes
lest I should sleep the sleep of death.
4  Lest my adversary should say,
I have prevailed over him;
Lest the ones that are troubling me
rejoice when I am moved from Thee.

Jn 3:14  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  15  That every one who believes into Him may have  eternal  life.  16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that every one who believes into Him would not perish, but would have  eternal  life.

Lk 22:17  And He received a cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among yourselves;  18  For I tell you, I shall by no means drink from now on of the product of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.  19  And He took a loaf and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is being given for you; do this in  remembrance of Me.  20  And similarly the cup after they had dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant established in My blood, which is being poured out for you.
1 Cor 11:23  For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread,  24  And having given thanks, He broke it and said, This is My body, which is given for you; this do unto the  remembrance  of Me.  25  Similarly also the cup after they had dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant established in My blood; this do, as often as you drink it, unto the  remembrance of Me.  26  For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you declare the Lord's death until He comes.

Isa 65:17   For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. {shall long…: Heb. shall make them continue long, or, shall wear out}
23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is  no  more.  2  And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  3  And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.  4  And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and  death  will be  no  more, nor will there be sorrow or crying or pain anymore; for the former things have passed away.

Jn 11:41  Then they took the stone away. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, Father, I thank  You  that  You  have heard Me.  42  And I knew that  You  always  hear Me; but because of the crowd standing around, I said it, that they may believe that  You  have sent Me.
Lk 22:41  And He withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed,  42  Saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet, not My will, but Yours be done.  43  And an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.  44  And being in agony He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.

Hos 6:1  Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.  2  After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.  3  Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the  morning ; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.

Song of Songs 2:9  My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he stands behind our wall, he looks forth at the windows, showing himself through the lattice.
10  My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
17  Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
So 8:14  Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.
Isa 35:6  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

2 Pet 1:19  And we have the prophetic word made more firm, to which you do well to give heed as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the  morning star rises in your hearts;
Rev 2:26  And he who overcomes and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;  27  And he will shepherd them with an iron rod, as vessels of pottery are broken in pieces, as I also have received from My Father;  28  And to him I will give the morning  star.  29  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
22:16  I Jesus have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright  morning  star.
Luke 17:34  I tell you, In that night there will be two on one bed; the one will be taken and the other will be left.  35  There will be two women grinding together; the one will be taken but the other will be left.  36  Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.  37  And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Where the body is, there also will the vultures be gathered together.
18:1  And He told them a parable to the end that they ought always to pray and not lose heart,

8  I tell you that He will carry out their avenging quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He  find faith  on the earth?

Matt 28:1  Now late on the Sabbath, as it began to  dawn  toward the first day of the week, Mary the Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2  And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended out of heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.  3  And his appearance was like lightning, and his garment as white as snow.  4  And for fear of him the guards shook and became like dead men.  5  And the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are seeking Jesus, the crucified.  6  He is not here, for He has been raised, even as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.  7  And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has been raised from the dead, and behold, He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.  8  And they went away quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to report this to His disciples.  9  And behold, Jesus met them, saying, Rejoice! And they came to Him and took hold of His feet and worshipped Him.  10  Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid. Go and report to My brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.
Mark 16:1  And when the Sabbath was past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might come and anoint Him.  2  And very  early  on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb as the sun rose.  3  And they said to one another, Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb?  4  And when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, for it was extremely large.  5  And when they entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, clothed in a white robe, and they were alarmed.  6  And he said to them, Do not be alarmed. You are seeking Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has been raised; He is not here. Behold the place where they laid Him.  7  But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee. There you will see Him, even as He told you.  8  And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.  9  Now after He had risen  early  on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary the Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.  10  She went and reported to those who had been with Him, who were mourning and weeping.
Luke 24:1  Now on the first day of the week, at early  dawn , they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.  2  And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb;  3  But when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.  4  And while they stood perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.  5  And they became frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, and the men said to them, Why are you seeking the living One among the dead?  6  He is not here but has been raised. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,  7  Saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise up.  8  And they remembered His words.
22  But moreover some women from among us amazed us. Being at the tomb  early 23  And not finding His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that He is living.  24  And some of those with us went to the tomb and found it even as the women also said, but they did not see Him.
Jn 20:1  Now on the first day of the week, Mary the Magdalene came  early  to the tomb while it was yet dark and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.  2  She ran therefore and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.  3  Peter therefore went forth, as well as the other disciple, and came to the tomb.  4  And the two ran together, yet the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came first to the tomb.  5  And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there; however, he did not enter.  6  Then Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered into the tomb; and he beheld the linen cloths lying there  7  And the handkerchief which had been over His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded up in one place apart.  8  At that time therefore the other disciple also, who came first to the tomb, entered, and he saw and believed;

Jn 21:4  Now as soon as the  morning  broke, Jesus stood on the shore; however the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
Job 1:5  And it was so, when the days of [their] feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the  morning , and offered burnt offerings [according] to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
7:17  What [is] man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?  18  And [that] thou shouldest visit him every  morning , [and] try him every moment?
21  And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the  morning , but I [shall] not [be].

50:4  The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakens  morning  by  morning , he wakens mine ear to hear as the learned.
Lam 3:22  [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  23  [They are] new every  morning : great [is] thy faithfulness.
Ezek 12:8  And in the  morning  came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
33:22  Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the  morning ; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.  23  Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Exo 16:21  And they gathered it every  morning , every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
19:16  And it came to pass on the third day in the  morning , that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled.  17  And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
24:4  And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the  morning , and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
30:6  And thou shalt put it before the veil that [is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that [is] over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.  7  And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every  morning : when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
34:1  And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon [these] tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.  2  And be ready in the  morning , and come up in the  morning  unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.  3  And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.  4  And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the  morning , and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

Jn 8:2  And  early  in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught them.

Ge 49:21  Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.
2Sa 22:34 & Ps 18:33  He maketh my feet like hinds` feet: and sets me upon my high places.
Pr 5:19  Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. {satisfy…: Heb. water thee} {be thou…: Heb. err thou always in her love}
So 2:7 & 3:5  I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
Hab 3:19  The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the overcomer on my stringed instruments.

Numbers 23:9  For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
Deuteronomy 4:6  Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
14:2  For thou art  an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
26:19  And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
32:43  Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
2Sa 7:23  And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
1Ch 17:21  And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
Jer 28:11  And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
Jer 31:7  For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
Eze 38:12  To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Joe 3:2  I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Zec 2:11  And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
Zec 14:2  For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Jer 21:9  He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
38:2  Thus saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live.
39:18  For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
45:5  And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

Rom 1:16  For I am  not   ashamed  of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes, both to Jew first and to Greek.  17  For the righteousness of God is revealed in it out of faith to faith, as it is written, ``But the righteous shall have life and live by faith.''

Acts 1:8  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jn 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name,  13  Who were begotten not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
3:3  Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is  born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  4  Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be  born  when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be  born , can he?  5  Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is  born  of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  6  That which is  born  of the flesh is flesh, and that which is  born  of the Spirit is spirit.  7  Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be  born  anew.  8  The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it goes; so is everyone who is  born  of the Spirit.
Ezek 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

1 Cor 4:15  For though you have ten thousand guides in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have  begotten  you through the gospel.
Philem 1:10  I entreat you concerning my child, whom I have  begotten  in my bonds, Onesimus,
1 Jn 2:29  If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness also has been  begotten  of Him.
3:1  Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and we are. Because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.  2  Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been manifested what we will be. We know that if He is manifested, we will be like Him because we will see Him even as He is.
9  Everyone who has been  begotten  of God does not practice sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been  begotten  of God.  10  In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest. Everyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, neither he who does not love his brother.
4:7  Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been  begotten  of God and knows God.  8  He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.  9  In this the love of God was manifested among us, that God sent His only  begotten  Son into the world that we might have life and live through Him.  10  Herein is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins.  11  Beloved, if God has loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.  12  No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.  13  In this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, that He has given to us of His Spirit.  14  And we have beheld and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.  15  Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God.
5:1  Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been  begotten  of God, and everyone who loves Him who has  begotten  loves him also who has been  begotten  of Him.  2  In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do His commandments.  3  For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.  4  For everything that has been  begotten  of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory which has overcome the world--our faith.
18  We know that everyone who is begotten of God does not sin, but he who has been begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.

Mk 10:24  And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus again answered and said to them, Children, how difficult it is for those who trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!  25  It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.  26  But they were astonished beyond measure and said among themselves, Then who can be saved?  27  Looking upon them, Jesus said, With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are  possible  with God.

1 Pet 1:23  Having been regenerated not of corruptible  seed  but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding word of God.
1 Jn 3:9  Everyone who has been begotten of God does not practice sin, because His  seed  abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been begotten of God.

1 Pet 2:9  But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a  people  acquired for a possession, so that you may tell out the virtues  of  Him who has called you out  of  darkness into His marvelous light;  10  Who once were not a  people  but now are the  people   of   God ; who had not previously been shown mercy but have now been shown mercy.
Rom 9:24  Even us, whom He has also called, not only from among the Jews but also from among the Gentiles?  25  As He also says in Hosea, ``I will call those who were not My  people  My  people , and her who was not beloved beloved;  26  And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, You are not My  people , there shall they be called sons  of  the living  God .''
Rom 10:19  But I say, Did Israel not know this? First, Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy by them who are not a nation; by a nation without understanding I will anger you.''  20  And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I was found by those who did not seek Me; I became manifest to those who did not ask for Me.''  21  But with regard to Israel he says, "All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a  people  who disobey and contradict.''
11:1  I say then, Has  God  cast away His  people ? Absolutely not! For I also am an Israelite, out  of  the seed  of  Abraham,  of  the tribe  of  Benjamin.  2  God  has not cast away His  people  whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage concerning Elijah, how he pleads with  God against Israel?  3  "Lord, they have killed Your prophets, they have torn down Your altars; and I am left alone, and they are seeking my life.''  4  But what does the divine answer say to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.''  5  In the same way then at the present time also there has come into being a remnant according to the selection  of  grace.  6  But if by grace, it is no longer out  of  works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.  7  What then? That which Israel is seeking after, this it has not obtained, but the chosen have obtained it, and the rest have been hardened;  8  As it is written, " God  gave them a spirit  of  deep sleep, eyes to see not and ears to hear not, until this very day.''
11:11  I say then, Have they stumbled so as to fall? Absolutely not! But by their misstep salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.
Hos 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
Deut 32:20  And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end [shall be]: for they [are] a very froward generation, children in whom [is] no faith.
21  They have moved me to jealousy with [that which is] not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with [those which are] not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
Isai 65:1  I am sought of [them that] asked not [for me]; I am found of [them that] sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation [that] was not called by my name. 2  I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way [that was] not good, after their own thoughts;

Heb 10:38  "But My righteous one  shall live by faith ; and if he shrinks back, My soul does not delight in him.''  39  But we are not of those who shrink back to ruin but of them who have  faith  to the gaining of the soul.

1 Pet 5:5  In like manner, younger men, be subject to elders; and all of you gird yourselves with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.  6  Therefore be humbled under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time,  7  Casting all your anxiety on Him because it matters to Him concerning you.  8  Be sober; watch. Your adversary, the devil, as a roaring  lion , walks about, seeking someone to devour.  9  Him withstand, being firm in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being accomplished among your brotherhood in the world.  10  But the God of all grace, He who has called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and ground you.

Ps 110:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Gen 3:14 And Jehovah Elohim said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, be thou cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. On thy belly shalt thou go, and eat dust all the days of thy life.
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall crush thy head, and thou shalt crush his heel.
22:16  And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Acts 3:25  You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God covenanted with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ``And in your  seed  shall all the families of the earth be blessed.''  26  To you first, God, having raised up His Servant, has sent Him to bless you in turning each of you away from your wicked deeds.
Gal 3:8  And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles out of faith, announced the gospel beforehand to Abraham: ``In you shall all the nations be blessed.''

Gene 26:1  And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
2  And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3  Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4  And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these  countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
28:10  And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
11  And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put [them for] his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12  And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13  And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
14  And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Psal 89:3  I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4  Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.
Psal 132:10  For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11  The LORD hath sworn [in] truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
Acts 2:29  Men, brothers, I can say to you plainly concerning the patriarch David that he both deceased and was buried, and his tomb is among us until this day.
30  Therefore, being a prophet and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him to seat One from the fruit of his loins upon his throne,
31  He, seeing this beforehand, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was He abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
32  This Jesus God has raised up, of which we all are witnesses.
33  Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
34  For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand
35  Until I set Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet.''
36  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you have crucified.
13:22  And when He had deposed him, He raised up David for them as king, to whom also He testified and said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man according to My heart, who will do all My will.  23  From this man's  seed , God, according to promise, brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus,

Ps 110:1 (Darby) Psalm of David. Jehovah said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put thine enemies as footstool of thy feet.
Matt 22:42  Saying, What do you think concerning the Christ? Whose son is He? They said to Him, David's.  43  He said to them, How then does  David  in spirit call Him  Lord , saying,  44  ``The  Lord  said to my  Lord , Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies underneath Your feet''?  45  If then  David  calls Him  Lord , how is He his son?  46  And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone from that day dare to question Him anymore.
Mk 12:35  And Jesus, while He was teaching in the temple, answered and said, How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of  David ?  36  David  himself said in the Holy Spirit, ``The  Lord  said to my  Lord , Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies underneath Your feet.''  37  David  himself calls Him  Lord , and how is He his son? And the great crowd heard Him gladly.
Lk 20:41  And He said to them, How is it that they say that the Christ is David's son?  42  For  David  himself says in the book of Psalms, "The  Lord  said to my  Lord , Sit at My right hand,  43  Until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet.''  44  David  therefore calls Him  Lord , and how is He his son?
Acts 2:34  For  David  did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says, "The  Lord said to my  Lord , Sit at My right hand  35  Until I set Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet.''  36  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both  Lord  and Christ, this Jesus whom you have crucified.

Exo 4:16 (AV) And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
5:12  So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.
Nu 10:31  And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
Job 33:6  Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

Ge 22:2  And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
12  And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
16  And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
Jud 11:34  And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
Pr 4:3  For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
Jer 6:26  O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.
Am 8:10  And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Ps 68:6  God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Ps 35:17  Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my only one from the lions.

2Sa 3:2  And unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;

Philippians 2:9-11   9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
