11  Hannah prayed, and she said,    My heart exults in the LORD;
my horn's lifted   up in the LORD;
my mouth is opened wide   over my enemies
because in Thy   salvation I rejoice.

2  There is none holy, holy like the LORD
because there is    no one else besides Thee,
neither a rock to   stand on like our God.
There is no Rock    nor one holy like Thee.

23  Don't multiply your words   while pride is within your heart;
let not boasting   exit your mouth
because the LORD is a God    who knows everything,
and by the Lord    a man's actions are weighed.

4 The bow of the strong   has been broken up,
and the stumblers    have been girded with strength.
5 They that had been full   are begging for bread
and the hungry    are hungry no longer:

3 'till barren bears seven , and she abounding with sons
 has languished in    disappointment.
 6. The LORD kills and makes alive;    brings down to Sheol
and He brought up   again out from the dead.

7  The LORD maketh poor,    and He maketh rich,
He bringeth low,   and also He lifts up.
8 He raises the poor   up out of the dust.
From the dung-hill   He lifts up the needy

 4 to sit among nobles;   makes them inherit a throne
of His glory;    For earth's pillars
are the LORD's, and He has set   the world upon them.
All is ordered   by His almighty hand.

9 He keeps His saints' feet,    but wicked silenced
in the darkness   for by strength none prevail.
 10 They that strive with God    shall be broken up.
In the heavens   He'll thunder upon them.

 5 The Lord will judge the earth    from one end to the other
and He will give    strength to his king,
and He will exalt the horn     of His Messiah.
And Hannah left   her boy before the LORD.

Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

1Samuel 1:4 And it came to pass on the day that Elkanah sacrificed, he gave to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters portions;
5 but to Hannah he used to give a double portion, for he loved Hannah; but Jehovah had shut up her womb.
6 And her adversary provoked her much also, to make her fret, because Jehovah had shut up her womb.
 7 And as he did so year by year, as often as she went up to the house of Jehovah, she provoked her thus; and she wept and did not eat.

Psalm 40:2 And he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, praying at every season, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things which are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Zechariah 12:8 In that day will Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that stumbleth among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David as God, as the Angel of Jehovah before them.

1 Samuel 2:30 Wherefore Jehovah the God of Israel saith, I said indeed, Thy house and the house of thy father should walk before me for ever. But now Jehovah saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
 31 Behold, days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thy house.
...
 34 And this shall be the sign to thee, which shall come upon thy two sons, upon Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them.
35 And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind; and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed continually.
 36 And it shall come to pass that every one that is left of thy house shall come to crouch to him for a small piece of silver and for a cake of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priestly offices, that I may eat a morsel of bread.

1Samuel 2:10 LXX The Lord will weaken his adversary; the Lord is holy. Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, nor let the mighty man boast in his strength, and let not the rich man boast in his wealth; but let him that boasts boast in this, to understand and know the Lord, and to execute judgment and justice in the midst of the earth. The Lord has gone up to the heavens, and has thundered: he will judge the extremities of the earth, and he gives strength to our kings, and will exalt the horn of his Christ. And she left him there before the Lord,

1Samuel 7:10 And as Samuel was offering up the burnt-offering, the Philistines advanced to battle against Israel. And Jehovah thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were routed before Israel.
