"The king's Son" must be the Messiah. So the Messiah is a descendant of Solomon and not only of David.</div> <bR> <div> Who is "Your people" in this psalm? Is it the Israel of God or is it physical Israel or both. The Israel of God is Old Testament saints and NT saints and does not include Jews who did not believe in Christ after Christ's resurrection. Physical Israel is the Jewish people. During the millennium Christ will judge the Jewish people on earth. There will be some suffering and need for judgment. Previously the needy and suffering were among God's people (vv2,4), the Jews.
